CT-123 Water-based Waterproof Elastic Paint
Product Introduction:
CT-123 is a water-based, single-component waterproofing material. It is an advanced material that is easy to use and environmentally friendly. Application is simple; most people can directly open the paint, stir it slightly, and apply it immediately. Because CT-123 is a water-based product, it has no strong odor compared to oil-based paint and is much more environmentally friendly, making it very easy for the average person to purchase and apply at home. This product has extremely high elongation and is made from a special elastic material developed in cooperation with international manufacturers, providing strong waterproofing and protection against wall cracks.
Product Uses:
1. Waterproofing of bathrooms, balconies, and terraces.
2. Waterproofing of roof, parapet walls and walls
Product performance:
1. Simple and convenient to install; ready to use immediately after opening.
2. Easy to apply, with good flow and leveling properties.
3. Excellent hydrolysis resistance
4. Excellent breathability; can be applied to damp, unwetted surfaces.
5. The surface can be tiled after construction (not suitable for wall tiling). Suitable for bathrooms.
6. Prevent the growth of mold and algae.
7. Excellent weather resistance, resistant to weathering and alkali.
8. It is a low-volatile organic compound with a low odor.
9. Non-toxic, free of lead, mercury and heavy metals.

Instructions for use:
1. The actual amount of product used will vary depending on the shape, roughness, or working environment of the surface to be worked on.
2. Application methods: rolling, brushing, spraying
3. Diluent and dosage: It can be diluted with a small amount of water (maximum 5% of the mixture).
4. Ambient temperature: 5~35℃
5. Moisture content of plain ground: <15%
| (H: hours) | 25°C | 30°C |
| Surface dry time | Approximately 2 hours | About 1H |
| Painting intervals | 3~6H | 3~6 H |
Notes:
1. Ambient temperature: It is recommended to apply this product at temperatures between 5 and 35°C.
2. Environmental conditions: Avoid application in adverse weather conditions, high temperatures, direct sunlight, strong dry winds, or on surfaces with highly absorbent materials, as this will shorten the product's workability. Avoid application on rainy days or when the surface is damp with standing water. If application must be done in hot summer weather, avoid the period around midday (1 hour before or after noon).
3. Substrate temperature: Avoid construction when the surface temperature exceeds 35°C.
4. Substrate moisture: The surface to be applied should be kept dry. Avoid applying the material when the moisture content of the substrate is greater than 15%.
5. If the substrate conditions meet the following criteria, a suitable primer product must be applied before applying CT-123:
- The substrate is sandy or filled with powdery substances. - High water absorption (over 20%) or weak structure. - Damp concrete with high moisture content.
6. Once opened, use it as soon as possible to avoid prolonged storage. Do not recycle any material poured out of the container.
Implementation procedure :
General site preparation:
1. Cement must be matured for more than 14 days before this product can be applied.
2. Treatment of sand and dust on the construction surface
3. Cracks, holes, and corners must be filled and leveled. Use tile adhesive prepared with the correct water-cement ratio or a product with the same effect for filling.
• Treat the construction surface in the same way as described above → moisten with clean water, but do not allow water to accumulate → fill cracks.
1. Post-leveling curing: Please refer to the specified filling material instructions. The filled area must reach sufficient strength for subsequent construction.
2. Recommended dosage of primer: 0.2~0.3 kg/ m2 (1~2 coats). It should be applied evenly and in sufficient quantity to ensure thorough penetration into the substrate.
3. Dilute the CT-111 primer to an appropriate amount according to the operability of the substrate, and apply it evenly to the substrate surface in 1-2 layers. After the surface skin forms, continue to cure for 15-30 minutes (approximately 2 hours in total after completion at 25℃).
4. If the primer only forms a film on the surface and does not penetrate into the construction surface, please remove it and reapply; primer that does not properly penetrate the substrate will not help the performance of the waterproofing system.
5. If using a water ladle to spray the primer, pay attention to the soil's absorption and avoid accumulation or uneven spraying. If accumulation or uneven spraying occurs, use a roller brush to smooth it out.
• CT-123 waterproof layer application (tools: spray gun, roller brush, stiff brush)
a. Apply 2-3 coats after the primer has dried; do not apply coats while the primer is still wet.
b. Before applying the waterproof layer, the condition of the substrate must be checked again. It must be clean and free of dust and debris to avoid affecting the adhesion of the material.
c. Recommended dosage: 2 coats, approximately 0.3~0.6 kg/ m² , with a total dry film thickness not less than 0.6 mm (approximately 0.8 kg/ m² ). Application: Mix the material in the original container with a low-speed mixer for about 1 minute, and apply 2~3 coats evenly to the work surface. d. The interval between coats is approximately 3~6 hours (after the first coat is surface dry and no longer sticky, or after the film has completely changed color (darkened), apply 1~2 more coats of CT-123); it is recommended that the coats be applied perpendicularly to each other to form a strong coating.
e. Curing time: more than 1 day. The length of the curing period depends on the coating method and the ambient temperature. In high humidity, low temperature and poor ventilation, the curing time needs to be extended depending on the situation.
f. *For sites that require trial sales, please consider the timing based on these conditions.
Packaging :
4KG, 14KG, 20KG
Storage method :
1. Store in a well-ventilated, cool place (below 35°C) on a shelf or other secure storage space, keeping the original factory seal intact. Avoid direct sunlight, high temperatures, and extreme weather; excessive humidity and exposure to ultraviolet radiation will shorten the product's shelf life.
2. If stored under the above conditions, the Shelf Life of this product is 12 months.
3. Once the product is opened, it should be used up as soon as possible.
