15kV European 630/1250A Unshielded Detachable Connector

Application areas:

Used for cable entry and exit points in high-voltage electrical equipment. Type "C" bushings conforming to EN 50180 & EN 50181 standards provide electrical connection between the bushing and the cable.

Product Description

The 15kV European 630/1250A unshielded separable connector includes: a 15kV unshielded European front connector, a 15kV unshielded European rear connector, a WEQπ-15/630－3×□－17/45 unshielded front connector for angled π surge arresters, and a WEHπ-15/630－3×□－17/45 unshielded rear connector for angled π surge arresters.

When in operation, the unshielded front-mounted cable is bolted to the switchgear bushing socket; its tail can be directly plugged with an insulating plug, or it can be extended to connect to unshielded rear-mounted cable plugs, unshielded rear-mounted surge arresters, or unshielded rear-mounted inclined π surge arresters. The product conforms to the C-type bushing design in standards EN 50180 & 50181.

When the unshielded front-connected π surge arrester is in operation, it is bolted to the bushing socket of the switchgear, and the tail is directly plugged with an insulating plug. It cannot be extended further.

Unshielded rear-mounted cable plugs, unshielded rear-mounted surge arresters, and unshielded rear-mounted inclined π surge arresters can only be used with unshielded front-mounted plugs and cannot be used interchangeably with shielded plugs.
