Product Introduction:

DHDC-2740 is a two-component acrylic polyurethane topcoat, carefully formulated with acrylic resin, weather-resistant pigments, and functional additives. This product is specifically designed for heavy-duty anti-corrosion coating systems, providing superior weather resistance, gloss retention, and color retention, while effectively resisting chemical corrosion. Its low- VOC formula not only meets environmental requirements but also significantly improves application safety and comfort.

Product Features

Excellent weather resistance: It has excellent UV resistance and can withstand sun and rain for a long time, preventing the coating from chalking, cracking and peeling.

Excellent gloss and color retention: Maintains the stability of the coating's gloss and color over a long period, slows down fading, and keeps the coated object looking new.

Excellent physical and mechanical properties: The paint film is tough and has good wear resistance, impact resistance and scratch resistance.

Chemical resistance: It can effectively resist the erosion of various chemicals, such as weak acids, weak alkalis, oils and salt water.

Low VOC ( volatile organic compounds ) : Compared to traditional coatings, its low-odor formula provides a more environmentally friendly application environment.

Wide applicability: It has good adhesion and can be used with a variety of epoxy primers or intermediate coats.

use:

DHDC-2740 is widely used on steel structures and concrete surfaces requiring long-term aesthetic and efficient protection. Its main applications include:

1. Steel structures: bridges, petrochemical plants, power plants, port machinery, steel structure facilities, etc.

2. Industrial equipment: External protection for various mechanical equipment, storage tanks, pipelines, etc.

3. Building exterior walls: decoration and protection of concrete and mortar surfaces.

4. Transportation vehicles: railway vehicles, commercial vehicles and other outdoor equipment.

5. Outdoor facilities: public facilities, streetlights, signs, etc.

Drying time will vary depending on the ambient temperature and humidity.

Typical: 12 m²/L/coat (dry film thickness: 40 μm ( per coat ) )

The actual amount of paint applied will vary depending on factors such as the condition of the ground, the type of paint, the gloss, and the color.

Instructions for use:

!! Air bubbles are easily generated when using airless spraying. Please be sure to use DHDC-2740BG type paint .

Surface treatment

The surface to be worked on must be flat and dry.

Before construction, moisture, grease, old or damaged coatings, and other contaminants must be removed from the surface.

Paint preparation

Stir well before use, and mix thoroughly with the hardener as recommended in the instructions.

Generally, the recommended amount of thinner to add is: 10% for spraying and 15% for brushing.

Storage:

Storage validity period: 12 months

This product must be stored in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated place, away from direct sunlight and fire.

Notes:

Please read the paint instructions carefully before application.

The paint should be thoroughly stirred after opening the can.

Strictly follow the dilution ratio specified in the instructions; do not dilute excessively.

Please mix the main agent and hardener thoroughly according to the proportions indicated in the instruction manual.

Any grease, moisture, or dust on the construction surface must be thoroughly cleaned, and the moisture content of the substrate must be less than 8%.

This product is flammable and should be kept away from heat sources and open flames.

The work area should be well-ventilated during construction, and workers should avoid contact with skin and eyes. Please refer to SDS for relevant information.

Do not use when the temperature is below 5 °C or the relative humidity exceeds 85%.

Unused main agent and hardener should be sealed separately and stored in a cool place.

Epoxy floor coatings may fade or change color under sunlight, which is a normal reaction and does not affect their quality or performance.

Safety Precautions:

1. Ensure good ventilation during application, and keep the paint away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
2. To avoid contact with skin and eyes or inhalation of excessive paint fumes, please use protective equipment such as a face mask and gloves.
3. If it gets into your eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention.
4. Keep out of reach of children.
