Application areas:
The 110kV wrapped-type straight-through dummy joint is suitable for repairing damaged cable outer shielding, restoring the cable's structure and electrical performance. The 110kV wrapped-type insulated dummy joint can not only repair cables with damaged outer shielding, but also serve as a cross-interconnection grounding in long 110kV lines.
Product Description
The 110kV cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) cable shielding and isolating joint restores the cable's outer shielding layer through a tape wrapping process. A stress cone structure is also wrapped around the tape to disperse the electric field. Each tape possesses specialized electrical properties, and its self-adhesive and self-fusing properties allow for rapid fusion between the tape and the cable, and between different tapes, significantly reducing the possibility of gaps during construction. The 110kV XLPE cable shielding and isolating joint repairs the cable's outer shielding layer without cutting the cable core, greatly reducing the problem of excessive resistance at cable joints. The cable's insulation layer remains undamaged, preserving its excellent insulation performance.
