Product Description


This product uses high-strength 304 stainless steel as its main material, with flexible fireproof cotton (aluminum foil wrapped) laminated to the inner surface. The main body of the intermediate joint is wrapped with self-adhesive fireproof and arc-resistant tape. Expandable flame-retardant flexible fireproof putty is used to fill the gaps between the inside of the explosion-proof box and the cable. Furthermore, an expandable explosion-proof fire-retardant bag is placed inside the explosion-proof box. Combined with the protection of the external high-strength flame-retardant explosion-proof box, the overall structure adopts a three-layer fireproof and explosion-proof approach, achieving comprehensive fireproof and explosion-proof protection. The product has passed the explosion-proof certificate verification and testing of the National Explosion-proof Electrical Products Quality Supervision and Inspection Center, meeting the requirements of standards GB 3836.1-2010 "Explosive Atmospheres - Part 1: Equipment - General Requirements" and GB 3836.3-2010 "Explosive Atmospheres - Part 3: Equipment Protected by Increased Safety 'e'". This product is mainly used in power cable intermediate joints to confine the high-pressure gas flow, flames, and fragments generated by the explosion within the explosion-proof box when a fault occurs, preventing the spread of fire caused by the fault and the explosion impact from causing widespread damage to other power facilities. Fireproof and explosion-proof boxes are installed outside the intermediate joint. During normal operation, they protect the intermediate joint from external damage, providing a certain degree of mechanical protection and preventing damage from the spread of fire from surrounding electrical facilities. In the event of an accidental fire or explosion at the intermediate joint, they provide fire and explosion protection, and also offer some protection and isolation to other cables or surrounding equipment in the cable trench. The fireproof and explosion-proof box consists of two interlocking halves, facilitating on-site installation. Sealing strips are present at the flange joints on both sides of the explosion-proof box, and waterproof tape is wrapped around both ends, providing a certain degree of waterproofing.

2. The main body of the intermediate joint is covered with self-adhesive fireproof and arc-resistant tape to protect the intermediate joint from external flame burns and to prevent the flame caused by the intermediate joint from spreading due to breakdown and combustion.
3. Place an expansion-type flame-retardant explosion-proof fire arrestor bag inside the explosion-proof box to buffer the lateral shock wave caused by the explosion and prevent the flame from spreading further. Fill the gaps between the inside of the explosion-proof box and the cable with flexible fireproof putty to buffer the longitudinal shock wave caused by the explosion and prevent the flame from spreading further to the cable.
4. The high-strength explosion-proof box shell confines the high-pressure gas flow, flames and debris generated by the explosion within the explosion-proof box. At the same time, it prevents the spread of fire caused by the fault and the explosion impact from causing widespread damage to other power facilities. It also prevents damage to intermediate joints due to the spread of combustion of power facilities around the joint, while ensuring pedestrian safety.

Level 6 dustproof test: Place the sample in a dustproof chamber, connect the air extraction pipe, ensure the negative pressure is less than 2 kPa, and conduct the test for 2 hours. After the test, check that no dust has entered the sample. Level 6 waterproof test: Conduct the test using a Φ12.5mm nozzle test device, with a total flow rate of 100 L/min and a test time of 3 minutes. After the test, check that no water has entered the sample.

A tensile force of 960N was applied to the cable for 6 hours, and no displacement was observed.

8 Insulation dielectric strength test GB3836.36.1 Relatively

A test voltage of 21000V was applied between the phases of the sample and between the phase and ground for 60 seconds, and no breakdown occurred.
