Application areas:
Used for incoming and outgoing line positions in electrical equipment of 35kV and below. The product is available in Type C and Type E designs, conforming to EN 50180 & EN 50181 standards. It meets the requirements of different bushing exits for both Type C and Type E bushings. It provides full insulation and shields any touchable electrical connections between the outgoing bushings and cables of electrical equipment.
Product Description
The 35kV detachable connector includes:
- 1. 35kV C-type separable connectors conforming to C-type bushings (commonly known as European series): 35kV C-type shielded front insert, model: WCB 35/630; 35kV C-type shielded rear insert, model: WCBK 35/630.
- 2. 35kV E-type separable connectors conforming to E-type bushings (commonly known as American series): 35kV E-type shielded front insert, model: WEB 35/630; 35kV E-type shielded rear insert, model: WEBK 35/630.
- 3. 35kV Type C separable connectors are generally used in 35kV ring network switchgear to provide fully insulated electrical connections between the incoming and outgoing bushings and cables of the switchgear.
- 4. 35kV E-type separable connectors are generally used in 35kV cable branch boxes to provide a fully insulated electrical connection between the bushing and the cable in the cable branch box.
When in operation, it is bolted to the switchgear bushing socket; its tail can be directly plugged with an insulating plug, or it can be extended to connect to a rear-mounted cable plug or a rear-mounted surge arrester.
The rear plug connects to the front plug of the same series or another rear plug of the same series, providing an extended cable connection loop (branch). It cannot be directly connected to the bushing. The tail can be directly plugged with an insulating plug, or it can be extended to connect to another rear-plug cable head or rear-plug surge arrester of the same series.
Features
- 1. Made of high-quality EPDM rubber, it not only has excellent electrical properties, but also is tear-resistant, ozone-resistant, oxidation-resistant, corrosion-resistant, and has high mechanical strength.
- 2. The internationally advanced three-layer injection process effectively ensures interface performance, avoids interlayer gaps, and minimizes partial discharge.
- 3. The inner and outer shields of the shielded plug are designed and optimized using simulation software, resulting in a more reasonable electric field structure. The outer shielding layer is molded, and the grounding resistance is less than 5000Ω, effectively keeping the outer surface of the cable head at zero potential and ensuring the safety of maintenance personnel.
